VARIOUS YEAR AROUND ACTIVITIES

TPISSS provides its students with a world class education by nurturing self-confidence, self-discipline, critical thinking and creativity.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

The co-curricular activities are a part and parcel of the school curriculum. Debates, quiz competitions , declamation , dramas, folk song competitions, poetical recitation, essay writing, fancy dress competition, on the spot painting competition, handwriting competition, cleanliness competition and other inter house competitions are held according to the preplanned published schedule.

During the socially useful productive work periods, the students are enjoined to take part in plantation, stone carving, doll making, sewing, needle work, knitting, stamp collection, clay modelling, paper flower making and photography etc.

The school always takes initiative to send the senior students on educational tours for gaining knowledge and pleasure. The students are escorted by qualified staff while on tour. All that is done on the concessional rates and a spirit of co-operation and unity is cultivated with this method.

The school celebrates all the Gurpurabs in the school campus and Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji , Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Guru Teg Bahadur Ji's martyrdom days as well as Guru Gobind Singh Ji's birthday is celebrated with full enthusiasm and symposiums are held in this respect with utmost faith. As a result the students are found aware in respect of their rich heritage. Teachings of the ten Gurus are repeated and cultivated in the minds of the students. Other festivals, Diwali Baisakhi, Lohri, Ram Navmi, Janmashtmi, Shivratri, Christmas etc. are also celebrated with due pomposity. 15th August and 26th January is specially celebrated and Children Day, Teachers Day are also part of our festivities without break.
